Terrance Hendershot Details
After completing Mechanical Engineering Technology courses at The University of Akron, Terrance took an engineering position with WSM Consultants, a manufacturer of plastic extrusion screws and dies. In 1987, Terrance joined Bonnot Company where he filled a number of positions, including purchasing agent for manufacturing, operations manager, and plant manager.
In 2000, Terrance joined Raymond Products & Castings USA where he managed sales and marketing and provided oversight of the machine shop. In 2006, he became Vice President of Operations at Akron Tool & Die Company, and eventually took a position with Diamond America Corporation, Akron Tool & Die’s sister company. In 2013, Terrance was named President of Diamond America.
Under his leadership, Diamond America Corporation experienced a 25% increase in sales and its equipment offerings expanded into new and emerging markets. Terrance also led the company's strategic shift toward the catalyst industry and initiatives to accelerate innovation, elevate design and engineering processes, and capitalize on the company's manufacturing capabilities.
Terrance has completed continuing education courses for screw design, die design, and plastic extrusion technology. He also managed ISO Certifications while at Bonnot Company and Diamond America Corporation.
